The Marius Small Animal Veterinary Clinic provides a professional veterinary clinical service in a warm, friendly and caring environment.
Our vets and nurses are friendly and approachable and committed to maintaining a standard of excellence in all our services through ongoing personal and professional development.
We understand the importance of the role of companion animals in their owner’s lives and that the wellbeing of the pet can have a significant impact on the wellbeing of the pet owner.
Our aim is to provide a holistic service by playing an active role in animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in our local community through our involvement with the TRC, RSPCA and WIRES.
For over 15 years the Marius Small Animal Veterinary Clinic has provided on the job training for students doing the Veterinary Nurse Cert IV Certificate. We have worked closely with the Tamworth College of TAFE and Open College to provide the skills necessary to achieve their Certificate IV qualification. We have had a number of students complete their qualifications through our clinic and of these seven have gained employment with our clinic following completion of their course.
The clinic encourages ongoing professional education and our nurses regularly attend professional conferences and workshops. Three of our nursing staff are currently completing university degrees part-time whilst working at the clinic.
